BEACH CLEAN UP/PICNIC ON OCTOBER 5, 2011
HKCC have kindly provided every team with:
* sweat bands (first come first served)
* a bottle of wine (to be shared at the cleanup)
Things to bring:
1. gloves (we have 7 pairs)
2. biodegradable bags
3. sunscreen
4. a hat
5. water
6. cameras
7. picnic nibbles
ITINERARY:
14:30 assemble at POWER STATION Beach
14:15-14:30 divide into teams, a briefing
14:30 start the cleanup
16:00-16:30 finish beach cleanup
16:00/30 sunset picnic
There is also a competition for the team which collects the most trash, the team which finds the strangest "washup", the team which is the greenest and others...

October 2011 Lamma Ramblers have signed up to participate in the clean up organized by the Hong Kong Coastal Cleanup, which promotes eco ocean awareness, encourages everyones involvement and keeps track of what kind of trash washes up on our shores.
